KRAFT PAPER

Kraft paper is a durable paper made from natural cellulose fibers. It got its name from the German word “kraft” because the word “kraft” means “strength” or “endurance”.

The production process of kraft paper starts from the tree. The bark of the cut wood is removed and ground with special sawdust in special machines. A hot aqueous solution of hydroxide and sodium sulfate is poured and cellulose is placed in it. Long fiber wood chips are loaded into a boiler and then heat is supplied.

As a result of these processes, kraft paper is obtained. Kraft paper is known for its durability and strength and is used in many different industries.

Usage areas of kraft paper are as follows:

Packaging of the products to be shipped,
Creating support between packaged products,
Filling to ensure safety in boxes,
Part of the design in the product package,
Bag making,
Thermal insulation material in buildings
